Our Mission
Dominican Republic Lacrosse’s mission is to create a culture that empowers aspiring student-athletes by teaching them to grow through strength and confidence, inspiring them to be better people through teamwork and serving communities through humanitarian efforts. These efforts are critical in increasing their abilities and challenging them to expand their awareness of the world around them.
In addition, Dominican Republic Lacrosse will provide the Dominican Republic with the opportunities and resources to play, coach and learn lacrosse so the sport can be sustained in the country.
Investing in student- athletes futures, we will use the sport to connect them with opportunities in the United States. Furthermore, we will create and develop the Dominican Republic National Teams so we are ready to compete in national tournaments and the World Games.

WHO WE ARE
Dominican Republic Lacrosse shall, first and foremost, work to develop the sport of lacrosse throughout the Dominican Republic for both men and women and at all levels from yourt to adult. Arising out of this development, Dominican Republic Lacrosse shall also oversee, manage and support the Dominican national teams – for men and women and at under-age and senior levels.
In line with Dominican Republic Lacrosse’s Mission Statement, our National Teams are closely linked to the growth and development of Lacrosse in the Dominican Republic. This growth and development is not solely about generating greater awareness and increasing player numbers, but also about improving the lacrosse ability of those selected and, as a consequence, the wider lacrosse playing population of the Dominican Republic. We believe in promoting unity among all those interested in supporting the mission of Dominican Republic Lacrosse, in all its facets.
